| He continued, “Then put away the foreign gods from among you. Bend your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.” | Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel. |
| But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me. | Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. |
