| To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. | To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. |
| Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth. | Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. |
| He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh. | He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. |
| Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. | Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death. |
| Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path. | Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. |
| Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. | Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. |
| Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding. | Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. |
| The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. |
