For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17	This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” faith righteousness salvation
Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3	Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. purification family heaven

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word. Ephesians 5:25-26	For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. love purification relationships
For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. 2 Corinthians 1:5	For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. suffering comforter Jesus
As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. John 6:57	I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me. Father Jesus food
The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the heart of the wicked is of little worth. Proverbs 10:20	The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless. valuable righteousness speaking
Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said. Amos 5:14	Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. holiness reward seeking
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:22	But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. obedience Word of God listening
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:3	The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices. honesty righteousness sacrifice
For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night. Psalm 90:4	For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours. God life understanding
My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:11-12	My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. love Father learning

But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16	But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot. Proverbs 10:7	We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away. sin righteousness blessing
As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man. Proverbs 27:19	As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person. life heart
But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:5-6	Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything. Ecclesiastes 11:5	Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you. Deuteronomy 8:5	Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good. Father learning punishment
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. Proverbs 10:6	The godly are showered with blessings; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions. righteousness speaking blessing
For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19	Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. righteousness obedience salvation

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:13	Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. forgiveness peace neighbor
Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
