- Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.
- Guard your heart with all possible vigilance,
for from it flow the wellsprings of life. - I am not asking you
to take them out of the world,
but I do ask you
to protect them from the evil one. - The Lord will protect you against all evil;
he will watch over your life.
The Lord will watch over your coming and your going
both now and forevermore. - But from everlasting to everlasting
the kindness of the Lord is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children,
with those who keep his covenant
and diligently observe his commandments. - In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- Therefore, I say to you: ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- Keep falsehood and lying far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but simply provide me with the food that I need. - I will instruct you
and guide you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you
and keep my eyes upon you. - Whoever observes the commandments will live,
but the one who scorns them will die. - Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
- Follow my statutes and keep my commandments and obey them. Then I will give you rain in its proper season and the yield of the land shall increase and the trees of the field shall bear their fruit.
- Therefore, observe the commandments of the Lord, your God. Walk in his ways and fear him.
- Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go.
- You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you.
- Protect me, O God,
for in you I take refuge. - If the Lord does not build the house,
those who construct it labor in vain.
If the Lord does not guard the city,
those who keep watch over it do so in vain. - However, if the wicked renounce all of the sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is right and just, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
- My son, do not forget my teaching,
but cherish my commandments in your heart,
for they will bring you length of days,
more years of life, and an abundance of prosperity. - It is the Lord, your God, whom you are to follow. You must fear him and observe his commandments and obey what he tells you and serve him and hold fast to him.
- All those who keep his commandments abide in him,
and he abides in them.
And the proof that he abides in us
is the Spirit that he has given us. - You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you.
- You intended to do evil to me, but God decided to make it serve a good, to fulfill that which today has come true: to keep alive a numerous people.
- I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
- Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.
