Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. | Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. |

Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham. | Now a mediator is not for one party only; but God is only one. |
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. | Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. | You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. |
Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless. | The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver, The heart of the wicked is worth little. |
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. | Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things. |

What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. | Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. |

Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. | Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. |
You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. | Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. |
The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness. | The Lord is righteous in all His ways, And kind in all His works. |
And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. | Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? |
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. | Yours, Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion, Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. |
For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does. | For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in faithfulness. |
