- Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the strength of my life.
Of whom shall I be afraid? - Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.
- Before destruction the heart of man is proud,
but before honor is humility. - Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.

but in the end it leads to death. - But our God is in the heavens.
He does whatever he pleases. - He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.

and a light for my path. - Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”

but every fool will be quarreling. - Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul.
Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.
