- So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
- Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
- One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.
- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
- On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
- Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
- Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

Let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications. - If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
- But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As raindrops on the tender herb,
And as showers on the grass. - Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
- And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.
- My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you. - Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
- Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.
- Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart. - Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
