- For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.
- O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - So then let us not fall asleep as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
- Let all that you do be done in love.
- Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.
- Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
- Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! - For
“Those who desire life
and desire to see good days,
let them keep their tongues from evil
and their lips from speaking deceit;
let them turn away from evil and do good;
let them seek peace and pursue it.” - Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
- Let us test and examine our ways,
and return to the Lord. - If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.
- Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
- May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him. - He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your steadfast love. - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens.
Let your glory be over all the earth. - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord. - Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved. - This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. - Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
- He humbled you by letting you hunger, then by feeding you with manna, with which neither you nor your ancestors were acquainted, in order to make you understand that one does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
With my whole heart I seek you;
do not let me stray from your commandments.The grass withers, the flower fades;
but the word of our God will stand forever. And though one might prevail against another, two will withstand one. A threefold cord is not quickly broken.Next verse!With image
