For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. However, the face of the Lord is set against those who do evil.
For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?
Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way.The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct.
With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me?
The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low, he also exalts.The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts.
Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely.A word is not even on my tongue and you, O Lord, are completely aware of it.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.
For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock besides our God?Indeed, who is God except the Lord? Who is the Rock besides our God?
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.Entrust everything that you do to the Lord, and your plans will turn out to be successful.
