But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. | But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. |

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. | In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. |
