Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. | If someone says, “I love God,” and yet he hates his brother or sister, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother and sister whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. |
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. | We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. |

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. | And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. |
