When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
