Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.
But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.

Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a bowl or hides it under a bed. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.
Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.
