Bible Verses about 'Man’s'
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
- A man’s pride will bring him low,
But the humble in spirit will retain honor. - A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps. - As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man. - A man’s gift makes room for him,
And brings him before great men. - The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
But the poor does not hear rebuke. - The rich man’s wealth is his strong city,
And like a high wall in his own esteem. - There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. - The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up. - Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man’s sake. - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
- Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts. - Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad. - What is desired in a man is kindness,
And a poor man is better than a liar. - Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
- And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
- If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.
- I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
