Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the hearts.Every person’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord examines the hearts.
That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness. A poor man is better than a liar.What is desirable in a person is his kindness, And it is better to be a poor person than a liar.
Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.Behold, as for the impudent one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous one will live by his faith.
This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.
But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice, and to do good as long as they live. Also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God.I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.
