| Before destruction the heart of man is proud, but before honor is humility. | Before destruction the heart of a person is haughty, But humility goes before honor. |
| It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man. | It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in people. |
| Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. | Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap. |
| He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth. | And He humbled you and let you go hungry, and fed you with the manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, in order to make you understand that man shall not live on bread alone, but man shall live on everything that comes out of the mouth of the Lord. |

| For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit. | For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. |
