| So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. | So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. |
| But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. | But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. |
