| But the one who endures to the end will be saved. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |

| His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and trustworthy slave; you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’ | His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. |

| Over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” | And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. |
| But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. For we observed his star at its rising, and have come to pay him homage.” | Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. |
| Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near. | Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. |
| Now John wore clothing of camel's hair with a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey. | And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. |

| And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” | And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. |
| But he answered, “It is written, ‘One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” | But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. |
