| Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. | May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. |
| Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. | Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. |
| Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. | Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. |
