- That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. - Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
- These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
- As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
- Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. - The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
- Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.Who is this King of glory?
