- So teach us to number our days,

- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
- And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us:
and establish thou the work of our hands upon us;
yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. - That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
- Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
- Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

but the Lord pondereth the hearts. - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
- These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
- That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
