- And you will say in that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
call on his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever. - I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness. - In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and your renown
are the soul's desire. - But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.
- All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
- I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- And the Lord will become king over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
- She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- You are indeed my rock and my fortress;
for your name's sake lead me and guide me. - And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
- O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you, I will praise your name;
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
- Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart to revere your name. - There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.
- A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
and favor is better than silver or gold. - But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you.
- Who builds his upper chambers in the heavens,
and founds his vault upon the earth;
who calls for the waters of the sea,
and pours them out upon the surface of the earth—
the Lord is his name. - Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. - And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
- You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name.
