When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever.‘Return, you backsliding Israel,’ says Yahweh; ‘I will not look in anger on you, for I am merciful,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will not keep anger forever.’
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
