What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind. Has he promised, and will he not do it? Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness.Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
“All things are lawful,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Those who eat must not despise those who abstain, and those who abstain must not pass judgment on those who eat; for God has welcomed them.Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
