- Lord, all my desire is before you.
My groaning is not hidden from you. - Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh.
Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. - Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry.
Don’t be silent at my tears.
For I am a stranger with you,
a foreigner, as all my fathers were. - Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you.
Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul. - Yahweh, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
- Those who know your name will put their trust in you,
for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart.
I will tell of all your marvelous works. - Yours, Yahweh, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, Yahweh, and you are exalted as head above all.
- Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness,
for they are from old times.
Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Remember me according to your loving kindness,
for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh. - I love you, Yahweh, my strength.
Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. - Therefore you are great, Yahweh God. For there is no one like you, neither is there any God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- I will be glad and rejoice in you.
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me. - Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
May your blessing be on your people. Selah. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.
O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart. - Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- For you will light my lamp, Yahweh.
My God will light up my darkness. - He has shown you, O man, what is good.
What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly,
to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? - For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
- And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
- Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
