| I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. | I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. |

| Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. | Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. |
| These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. | I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. |
| Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. | Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. |
| Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” | Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” |

| And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. | He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. |
| If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. | If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. |
| And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. | Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. |
| If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. | If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. |

| Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. | Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. |
| Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. | No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. |
| I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. | My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. |
| Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. | This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. |
| So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. | When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. |
| No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. | No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. |
