But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.Of course, there is great gain in godliness combined with contentment.

But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously.The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
