| It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man. | It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people. |

| “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” | I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” |
| Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. | Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” | This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’” |
| And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. | Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. |
| I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. | I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth. |
