She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn. | And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him. | And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. |

| I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.” | And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. | “Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.” | The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. |

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. |
| In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? | In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. |
| Yahweh says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” | Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. |
| Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. | And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. |
| But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you. | But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. |
| I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. | I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. |
