For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. | For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. |
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. | Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. |

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago. | O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. |
Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. | Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. |
The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. | The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. |
The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands. | The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. |
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. | And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. |
