Bible Verses about 'Possessions'

And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”After this, he said to the crowd, “Take care to be on your guard against all kinds of greed. Life does not depend upon an abundance of one’s possessions.”
Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”Jesus replied, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God.Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.
Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common. The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common.
If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. If I give away everything to feed the poor and hand over my body to be burned, but do not have love, I achieve nothing.
How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?If anyone is rich in worldly possessions and sees a brother in need but refuses to open his heart, how can the love of God abide in him?
Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce.Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your crops.
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever else you get, get insight. The beginning of wisdom is: acquire wisdom, and no matter what the cost, acquire understanding.
For all that is in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches—comes not from the Father but from the world. For everything that is in the world— the concupiscence of the flesh, the concupiscence of the eyes, and the pride of life— comes not from the Father but from the world.
