- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your right hand has held me up,
Your gentleness has made me great.
You enlarged my path under me,
So my feet did not slip. - The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge. - The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. - The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. - The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters. - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever. - The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein. - Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah - Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths. - Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. - Good and upright is the Lord;
Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
The humble He guides in justice,
And the humble He teaches His way. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid? - Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident. - One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple. - I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him. - The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.
In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness.Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies. Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.Next verse!With image
