- Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning,
For I trust in You;
Teach me the way in which I should walk;
For to You I lift up my soul. - Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - I will exalt You, my God, the King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
And kind in all His works. - The Lord is near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him in truth. - The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind;
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous. - The Lord watches over strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked. - He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. - For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will glorify the lowly with salvation. - Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! - But You, Lord, are a shield around me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah - In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - In the morning, Lord, You will hear my voice;
In the morning I will present my prayer to You and be on the watch. - For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield. - What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him? - I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders. - I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - The Lord will also be a stronghold for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble. - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. - Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand.
Do not forget the humble. - But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - One who walks with integrity, practices righteousness,
And speaks truth in his heart.
He does not slander with his tongue,
Nor do evil to his neighbor,
Nor bring shame on his friend.
