Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. You are a place of refuge for me; you preserve me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.
For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. For the word of the Lord is true, and he is faithful in everything he does.
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is filled with his kindness.
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all their host by the breath of his mouth.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness.
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise will be continually on my lips.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he set me free from all my fears.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. In my anguish I cried out; the Lord heard my plea, and I was saved from all my troubles.
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing.
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Then keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.Shun evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. The righteous call out, and the Lord hears them; he rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord remains close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirit is crushed.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them.
The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.Put your trust in the Lord and do good, that you may dwell in the land and be secure.
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will grant you what your heart desires.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.Commit your way to the Lord; place your trust in him, and he will act. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause, like the noonday.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.Preferable is the little that the righteous possess than the great wealth of the wicked. For the power of the wicked will be overcome, but the Lord protects the righteous.

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving.
