Psalm 46 (4/9)

Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness.Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments.I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.
I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.
The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips And from a deceitful tongue.Save me, Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber.
The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.
Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways.Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.
Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
