Psalm 71 (5/9)

I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; do not forget the oppressed.
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.But I trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.
The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others. Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors.
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.I keep the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.
To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless. With the loyal you show yourself loyal; with the blameless you show yourself blameless.
You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. It is you who light my lamp; the Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. This God—his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock besides our God?
You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand has supported me; your help has made me great. You gave me a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge.
The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the decrees of the Lord are sure, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes.
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.May he grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your plans.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses, but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God.
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff— they comfort me.
