Psalms 23 (5/9)

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, you are God.
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours.
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments!
I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath!
O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.
For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.
I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth.Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever!
Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands.
