Bible Verses about 'Regard'

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.
So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.
Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.
So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God.Hence, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “no idol in the world really exists,” and that “there is no God but one.”
Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.Who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death— even death on a cross.
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.
Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
Only a fool despises a parent’s discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise.A fool despises a parent's instruction, but the one who heeds admonition is prudent.
Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.Even fools who keep silent are considered wise; when they close their lips, they are deemed intelligent.
For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’This Jesus is ‘the stone that was rejected by you, the builders; it has become the cornerstone.’
The rich think of their wealth as a strong defense; they imagine it to be a high wall of safety. The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall.
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
Keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t pursue your own interests on that day, but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day. Honor the Sabbath in everything you do on that day, and don’t follow your own desires or talk idly. Then the Lord will be your delight. I will give you great honor and satisfy you with the inheritance I promised to your ancestor Jacob. I, the Lord, have spoken! If you refrain from trampling the sabbath, from pursuing your own interests on my holy day; if you call the sabbath a delight and the holy day of the Lord honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, serving your own interests, or pursuing your own affairs; then you shall take delight in the Lord, and I will make you ride upon the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of your ancestor Jacob, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.He was despised and rejected by others; a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity; and as one from whom others hide their faces he was despised, and we held him of no account.
I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations.I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your ordinances before me.
God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God.
As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous ordinances.

And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.
‘I am the Lord your God,’ I told them. ‘Follow my decrees, pay attention to my regulations, and keep my Sabbath days holy, for they are a sign to remind you that I am the Lord your God.’I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances, and hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign between me and you, so that you may know that I the Lord am your God.

Observe the requirements of the Lord your God, and follow all his ways.
