- And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
- And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
- Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.”
- For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
- Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’
- But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”
- And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”
- But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
- Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
- I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have nothing good besides You.” - And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
- And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- He said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
- But He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one is affluent does his life consist of his possessions.”
- And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
- Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
- While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”
- Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”
- And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
- Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”
- I acknowledged my sin to You,
And I did not hide my guilt;
I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”;
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah - And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- Then the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not reach out and put your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you.
- Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.”
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
- But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.
- So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.”
- I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I,’
To a nation which did not call on My name. - And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
- But he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; see, here is the place where they laid Him.”
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”
- And He said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”
