- God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!” - Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
- ‘For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’
- He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.
- But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”
- The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.”
- The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.”
- But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
- Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
- Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.
- Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
- Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”
Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots. - My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up. - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”

I am found by those who didn’t seek me.
I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name. - God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.”
- But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
- He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him!”
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.”
