Saith (3/4)

  • So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone.
  • And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.
  • Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
  • I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
    I have nothing good besides You.”
  • But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
  • So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.”
  • And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
  • They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
  • But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.”
  • But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”
  • So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
  • And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
  • Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
  • And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
  • The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’
  • Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
  • And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  • For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’
  • Seek good and not evil, so that you may live;
    And so may the Lord God of armies be with you,
    Just as you have said!
  • Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.”
  • But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”
  • Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
  • Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
  • Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
  • And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.

And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
