A person’s riches may ransom their life, but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes. The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke.
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness.
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.
Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.Help us, O God of our salvation, For the glory of Your name; And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins, For Your name’s sake!
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
