All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”
Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.
Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.

Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News, but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time: houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.”

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.
But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear— not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes”, and your “no”, “no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy.
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.

But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
