For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. | To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. |
Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. | Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. |

I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! | A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! |

If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit. | If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. |
Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. |
