| And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. | And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. |

| “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? | Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. | See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. |

| You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. | And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring. |
