- Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

and shall give birth to a son.
They shall call his name Immanuel,”
which is, being interpreted, “God with us.” - You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me.
- Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
- This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. - You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
- For it is written,
“‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘to me every knee will bow.
Every tongue will confess to God.’” - The liberal soul shall be made fat.
He who waters shall be watered also himself. - Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted. - If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
- But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’”
- You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.
- Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still.
- Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
- It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant.
- So is my word that goes out of my mouth:
it will not return to me void,
but it will accomplish that which I please,
and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do. - Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings.
- Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God. - The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Yahweh is my shepherd;
I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
