Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands’?Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
