Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.And when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time; for you are not the ones speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit.
Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.Without consultation, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors they succeed.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.”For, “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. He must turn away from evil and do good; He must seek peace and pursue it.”
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse.The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted.
It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.Avoiding strife is an honor for a person, But any fool will quarrel.
For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, Lord, You know it all.

Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you.Rid yourself of a deceitful mouth And keep devious speech far from you.
