- For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free. - May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.
- Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom;
humility precedes honor. - For the word of the Lord holds true,
and we can trust everything he does. - Joyful are people of integrity,
who follow the instructions of the Lord. - True humility and fear of the Lord
lead to riches, honor, and long life. - The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;
the godly run to him and are safe. - The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;
his ears are open to their cries for help. - He loves whatever is just and good;
the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. - The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed. - So obey the commands of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and fearing him.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity,
but it destroys the wicked. - Some nations boast of their chariots and horses,
but we boast in the name of the Lord our God. - Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see.
For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. - Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline. - Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.
Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. - The instructions of the Lord are perfect,
reviving the soul.
The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. - You must diligently obey the commands of the Lord your God—all the laws and decrees he has given you.
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.Next verse!With image
