- Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it. - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
- The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. - I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. - By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord.For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.Next verse!With image
