Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling.
Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.
“As I began to speak,” Peter continued, “the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as he fell on us at the beginning.”And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning.
Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry.Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.
Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.”Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.
Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last.And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.
Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
